As a member of the International Relations & Economic Development Committee, Mihaela has worked across the aisle to build a sustainable and inclusive workforce by enhancing the education system with more opportunities for vocational training, reskilling, and upskilling initiatives to ensure that businesses can meet Texas hiring needs. Mihaela has supported business growth through fortifying our energy, transportation, water, and broadband infrastructure while supporting sensible immigration and trade policies, and economic development incentives to bring tens of thousands of high-paying jobs to Collin County.

Helping Small Businesses Thrive

Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. When we have strong businesses, that leads to strong families, communities, and opportunities for all. As a small business owner, Mihaela knows the challenges that exist to starting and running your own enterprise. Mihaela is a proud supporter of small, family-owned, and women and minority-owned small businesses. Mihaela has worked closely with key stakeholders, industry experts, trade associations, and our local chambers of commerce to keep Texas the best state for small businesses. Mihaela supports policies that help small businesses get up and running, increase access to capital, and reduce regulatory costs. Our goal is to maximize employers’ opportunity to grow jobs, increase wages, and give back to our communities.
